Examination on Monday 13th of October 3.30 to 4.30pm

Duration

17 hours of tuition, including a one hour examination, spread over three consecutive Mondays.

What is included in the cost?

All included: tuition fee, study packs, wine samples, examination fee.

Who is it designed for?

Beginners with a basic understanding of wine types and winemaking wishing to gain a more solid knowledge about grapes, basic region and styles of wines, for professional or self development purpose alike.
No prior knowledge is required, although absolute beginners should start with Level 1.

Booking conditions

For WSET Classes

Students have to be 18 years of age minimum to take part in the non-mandatory wine tasting part of the course.
Bookings are treated on a first come-first-serve basis.
Your place to the chosen course will only be confirmed upon reception of full payment and completion of the enrolment form.
Please allow at least five business days to receive your study material (Level 2 and Level 3 only).
If you want to cancel your seat for a WSET class, this must done in writing.
If cancelled more than and excluding ten days before the start of the course, a full refund will be processed, minus the cost of your study pack if already sent. ($150 for Level 2, $200 for Level 3)
Course cancelled including or less than ten days before the start of the course will not be refunded.
The Wine Tip reserves the right to cancel a course in case of insufficient enrolment numbers, in which case, students would choose between a free transfer to another date or a full refund (minus study pack fee mentioned above if applicable).
The Wine Tip offers re-sit opportunities only for students who failed their exams. It is not possible to re-sit an exam to achieve a higher mark
Re-sit fees are as follows:
Level 1: $110
Level 2: $155
Level 3: Tasting only $100, Theory only : $180, $260 for both
There is a $50 fee for non attendance. If you have already booked and decide to cancel, you can do it up to two weeks prior to the exam for full refund.
If a student commits an infraction during the remote Invigilated exam leading to disqualification, The Wine Tip cannot be held accountable, and no refund will be granted.

For Gift Cards

Gift cards are valid for three years from the date of purchase and non refundable.

For wines

Wine purchases are non returnable and non refundable.
Despite careful sourcing and cellaring practices, The Wine Tip cannot be held responsible for a small proportion of bottles to be (and not limited to) out of condition, corked, oxidized.
